Based in Calgary, he practices as a neuroradiologist and musculoskeletal interventionalist, specializing in the diagnosis and image-guided treatment of complex spine pathologies.

An internationally recognized expert in interventional pain management, Dr Clerk is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Pain Management, and completed advanced fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard Medical School) and the Spine Fracture Institute. He has performed thousands of minimally invasive procedures and is known for translating clinical insight into practical, high-impact treatment strategies for chronic pain patients.

Dr Clerk plays a leading role in shaping the field through his involvement in expert committees, guideline development, and clinical research. He is a founding member of the Interventional Spine Council of the American Society of Spine Radiology and contributes actively to clinical trials, scientific publications, and educational initiatives in interventional pain management.
